Dominika the Illusionist

For melee classes: get behind her before the combat starts and pop all CDs, she will spawn some images far away from you and they will have to run toward you giving you some more time to hit her. When the images start casting at you AoE them down (they have 1hp) and go back to the boss

Grants victory rush... ;3

As a hunter I was stuck on this boss for a long time...

I tried varying levels of DPS switching between boss and adds but took too much damage either way.

Then another hunter reminded me of a spell you can use if you are using spirit beast... Spirit Mend. Pretty useful. Just make a macro as follows:-

/cast [target=yourname] Spirit Mend

But it gets better! If you have [item=43356], all of your summoned copies will cast the spell on you whilst [spell=121818] is active. Do the math... that's a shed load of healing!

This may be sufficient but I had a eureka moment whilst browsing glyphs - [item=45735]. Obviously this wil reflect the spell back at the adds, killing them!

So here is the full strategy.

1. 
   
2. Just before Dominika appears use your Spirit Mend macro.
3. 
   
4. Go full out dps until you are near half health and cast [spell=121818] followed by [spell=19263] and your use your Spirit Mend macro.
5. 
   
6. Continue to dps and if necessary use [spell=19263] again.
7. 
   

It's amazing how simple the fight is with a few changes to your glyphs, I hope this is useful to all hunters out there!
