One thing I can't stress enough about this fight: The ghosts melee range is incredibly long. It's easily 8-10 yards away. This is especially bad for melee like myself. Do your best to position the boss in a way that keeps all the ghosts in roughly the same direction so you can tag them during your final burn. You don't want to die to a ghost at 8% because one comes up to you from behind. No, I have no idea who that could have happened to. Why do you ask? :p
Some short numbers:
- On ghost kill, shield fades for roughly 19 seconds.
- If you dont have tons of dps, you will most likely have to kill the boss within 4 ghost kills.
- Shadow Bolts hit for around 85k, make sure to interrupt/reflect/resist them when you can.
- Die by the Sword helped me immensely, since ghosts will one-shot you with a regular melee attack. I assume it can be dodged as well.I killed him as arms warrior, having just about 474 ilvl, so it is possible. Though, the next one is not.
