As a 882 Fury Warrior, pre-tier build, I found it easier to alternate between [spell=232387] (haste, left side of where you spawn) and [spell=232377] (defensive, left side of where Serpent of Old spawns).
As soon as he spawns, position him by the totem immediately to your left (haste buff). Burst him down and bring him to the top left totem (defensive) when he reaches anywhere between 10-13 haste buff stacks. Keep him at the defensive totem until he is clear of the haste buff (~35 s) and them back to the haste totem. Rinse and repeat.
It may be a dps check for some, depending of gear level, so be sure to take [spell=208154] T4 talent and stack [item=142326] + Potion of Prolonged Power. Defiled Augment Rune, Flask of the Countless Armies and Drums of the Mountain help a lot if you're having trouble with the enrage timer.
just pased him as a Fury Warrior 881 ilvl, and i was holding him only at the speed totem.
With 30 stacks of speed he doesnt really do allote of damage so i was able to survive it. Just make sure u avaid the greed voids, dont stand on them they blow up after some time! Good luck all!
