Not sure if lucky or not, but I 2 pet him for Elekk achievement with a Frog (2,1,2) and a Scourged Whelpling (2,1,2).

Started with the frog, put Swarm of Flies on Cindy, then killed her with Tongue Lash. I used a heal when I felt the frog was low on health.
On Alex, same deal, keep Swarm up and use Tongue Lash until your frog dies. Swapped in Scourged Whelpling, used Darkness and then Dreadful Breath, which killed Alex and left Dah'da on very low hp.
Dah'da died from the 2nd Dreadful Breath channel. If anyone else tries this, let me know if it works for them.

Credit for pet idea goes to @hootstwo, but their comment didn't have any strategy.

I managed to beat him with the following set-up :

- Tolai Hare (rare qual.) : Scratch - Adrenaline Rush - Burrow
- Scourged Whelpling : Shadowflame - Call Darkness - Dreadful Breath
- Mini Tyrael (yeah I know, he's a rare one. I suppose any humanoid with big vs-dragonkin attacks should do the trick) : Holy Sword - Surge of Light - Holy charge

With the Rabiit you should make quick work of his undead dragon (be sure to Burrow to avoid the Ice Tomb falling, and don't bother with Frostbite damage much, as it is weak vs critters). Keep the rabbit up until the last Ice Toms has fallen, even if it is after Cindy is dead, and then switch to Scourged Whelpling.

Use Scourge whelpling's Dradful Breath to be sure to damage both remaining dragonkin pets good, and then the rest is quite linear.

While hidden in the shadows, Wrathion regains energy, and once fully recharged returns to the fight space and turns any remaining Crackling shards into Lava Pools.
