A Centurion Without a Cause

You'll find him at 44.9, 86.9 in Gorgrond.

He'll probably be fighting some mobs, and you'll see him as hostile (red), though you won't be able to attack him.

Just kill wave after wave of mobs (it may take a few) until [npc=83871] appears. When you kill Woodfist, Tormmok will turn to friendly (green) and after a little talk, he'll offer you the quest to recruit him.

EDIT: After you recruit him, it may happen that he stays there, and mobs start coming and fighting him again. Don't worry, you did recruit him, he just takes a lot to despawn :P

IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING THE BUG (where there are no adds attacking him):

It appears to be a REALM issue. to solve this, I used the Pre-made groups feature, which is found in the dungeons & raids tab, requested to join a group on a DIFFERENT realm, and when I phased, adds were magically attacking Tormmok.

Note that you may unintentionally request to join another bugged server, try a couple until you find adds attacking him.

If you're like me thinking you couldn't complete this "quest" in a raid group, i was NOT affected. I was able to recruit him with about 20 people in a raid group.

Hopefully this provides a short term fix for people while Blizzard (hopefully) addresses this issue.

TL;DR:
-Try a different realm to find adds. worked for me.
