The quest's turn-in marker is in Kun-Lai Summit at 68.7, 43.0. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,800 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 2 achievements.

Description

The human calf is arguing on our behalf. He is well-spoken; I can see why Baine Bloodhoof regards the prince so highly.

Still, the argument does not go well. I am of little consequence, but you are a hero of the Horde. Perhaps you can intercede in our favor?

Speak with the White Tiger and plead our case, <race>.

Be careful! He may set a number of challenges before you...

Experienced players should have no problem dodging/ moving out of the bad stuff. Seems to be a concept Blizzard wants to enforce into new players.

One thing though; my characters -don't- hate Varian. The Spirit of Hate should have shown mages pwning me in PVP instead. That. Is. Real. Hate.

Yes, I am mad.

The quest appears to have some bugs in it and it would not continue with each of the tests.
After dropping and restarting the quest several times, what eventually worked for me was to:

  2. Pick up the quest

  4. Speak to Xuen the tiger

  6. Wait for the first test to start

  8. When the test begins, run to Anduin and take a few hits

  10. Kill the target mob

  12. Rinse and repeat

This method seemed to keep the dialog moving and I was able to complete the quest.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Fisherman's TaleKun-Lai Summit · Level 20-35

The villagers of Zouchin know the coast better than anyone in Kun-Lai. If the Zandalari are hiding on one of the islands, they will know. Mishi will take you as far as Emperor's Path. I will go ahead to speak with the village elders. Follow the path to Whispercloud Rise.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • It Takes A VillageKun-Lai Summit · Level 20-35

The villagers have been guarding Zouchin since the first attack. They are exhausted and many are injured. If the Zandalari attack again the last thing we need is for the defenders to fall asleep on the job. Relieve them of their posts so that they might have time to heal and see their families.
