*Learn and Grow VI: Gina's Vote*You may have to do this last quest the following day. Crops ripen when dailies reset so unless its slightly before that time, you'll need to come back after they do, or any time the next day.
The good news is that if you have your crops planted even moments before reset, they will be ready very soon! This applies for regular farming too, not just this quest. I've tested and tried this method myself and was able to harvest within 8 min. after planting and tending.
Edit: updated for patch 5.1. Crops no longer ripen at midnight server time.

The first thing most players did in the old SNES game Harvest Moon was spend the first night (since night lasted forever; until you went to bed) clearing the rocks from their farm.

Description
I've been pushing and shoving and hammering all morning, but it's hopeless. These rocks won't budge! "It will be a breeze," Grandpa said. "Farming's like breathing!" he said. Maybe for him, but not for me! How am I supposed to succeed at this whole FARMING thing if I can't even clear my farm for planting? Hey, wait a minute. You look like you've got some muscle on you. Would you be willing to help me out? Just until I can catch my breath.
