A Hero's Burden

A Hero's Burden is a quest for level 20-30 in Sholazar Basin. It is step 52 of 65 in the Sholazar Basin storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Sholazar Basin at 72.0, 57.7. It rewards 4 reward items, 6,200 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

Perhaps the crystals will ward off the undead gradually, but there is one more thing that must be done.

We need to find the leader of these undead and kill him to ensure there's no one to push the wretches back upon us. If my suspicions are correct, he will be somewhere inside the fallen pillar... the Sundered Shard.

The corpses being dragged there would suggest as much anyway.

I'll place the shards and bring the news to Soo-say... I'll leave the rest up to you.

Seems like no one has said who to kill/save for which faction:

If you want Oracles: Kill Zepic

If you want Frenzyheart: Kill Jaloot

Then accept the quest from the one you 'saved'.

p.s. Choose wisely! If you save the wrong one you'll have to wait until tomorrow to redo it. The quest operates like a daily so it can only be completed once a day.

Edited for content.

Depending on who you kill during the fight (Gorloc or Wolvar), they open the quest to change faction and consequently their dailies. You can kill the lich again if you want to change faction.
