Some important facts:

  • You can not just ride up to deliver the quest.

  • You can not just spawn the Wolf Spirit and run up to deliver it.

  • You are at 7500 Unfriendly with [faction=941] before completing this quest (rendering you unable to interact with the faction).

  • You need to follow the Wolf.

You need to go to 33.6, 43.6 and spawn the [npc=17077] using [item=23669]. Then follow it because it gives you [spell=29938], a buff that makes you Friendly with [faction=941]. Once you deliver the quest you gain 700 reputation, that makes you 200/8000 Neutral with the faction, thus making you able to continue questing for them in Nagrand later on.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Warchief's MandateHellfire Peninsula · Level 10-30

As you know, the warchief put his power behind this expedition for one reason. This is the world we came from. This is where our roots lie. This journey means different things to orcs and blood elves. To them it's a search for the promised land. To us it's more like returning home.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Mag'harHellfire Peninsula · Level 10-30

This news you bring from beyond the Dark Portal... you want us to believe the son of Durotan ruled over the lands beyond it... free from any demonic taint? And that now his people have returned to this world? I hope for your sake that this isn't some manner of joke, <class>.
