A Wing to Fly On is an Alliance-only quest for level 32-35 in Isle of Thunder. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,800 experience and money.
I've just received a report that another young pterrorwing has been spotted in the Diremoor.
We need to recover as many of these as we can find. They may be the key to flying on this island.

I just did a "/tar wild", marked it with a skull and followed (it flies at ground mount speed) until it landed. Took 30 seconds tops.
/tar wild
Be sure to check your tracking options (the magnifying glass on your mini map) and check "Target". That way you can, well, track it after you've targeted it.
Just like the quest area coverage shows. It flies for a few seconds and lands at many spots. If you miss it you can just wait at where you saw it land just as easily.
just park at /way 49.80 64.88: it will land right on you, just click.
if you don't use coord locator, on the grass just east off the road where the Animated Warriors stone statues are battling.
