If anyone else is puzzled, you need to kill Packmother Soulfang.
This has nothing to do with completing or finding the quest. It's one of those, head scratchers that blizzard programmers keep giving us.
We're given the quest to find out what happened to Able, right? Not to go fight WITH him, but to find out why he didn't return. Hence the quest text, "Investigate Soulwatcher Abel's fate."
Ok, so then why, upon finding out his fate, we return and get the comment from Huntmaster Constantin, "... and yet you returned." As if he's questioning if we were the instrument of Able's death. It doesn't show up in the chat log, it's just something he says.
Perhaps HUntsmaster Constantin sent Abel to a certain death, hoped to to the same with you, but you managed to return? It is odd, either way.
