Foraging for Fragments

Foraging for Fragments is a quest for level 10-59 in Revendreth. It is step 2 of 8 in the Mirror Maker of the Master storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Revendreth at 24.3, 49.4. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 12,050 experience and money.

Description

Forgive me. I don't mean to appear ungrateful, but my mirror fragments are missing.

I shouldn't be surprised, really. They're quite powerful and I'm sure the miscreants out here would be happy to get their hands on them.

Nonetheless, I will not let this deter me.

The Master sends his stone servants to smash any mirrors erected in this ward, so we should have no trouble finding fragments nearby.

For some reason, I had to drop party before my Hunter could loot the shard. The NPC would go through his spiel and reveal the ash mound, I could loot it, the mirror shard would appear to have been looted, but it wouldn't go into my inventory and I didn't get credit for it. My Rogue in the same party had no issues.

Edit Update: On the next round, my Hunter looted first. She got credit for getting the shard, but the Rogue who went second had the same disappearing-shard issues.

Long story short, if you're having issues, drop out of your party for the entirety of the steps of following the NPC around and looting, abandon the quest and restart it.
