Thank goodness. I've always thought Ebonhorn would be a superior choice to Wrathion ever since we first met him in Legion. The guy watched over and protected Highmountian for 10,000 years without succumbing to ambition or even seeking any recognition. This is one writing choice that I'm happy with!
Spoiler
As soon as Ebyssian was involved in this campaign, it became clear that he was a better choice for aspect then Sabellian or Wrathion. At the same time, I was a bit surprised that he put up absolutely no resistance to being nominated.

Description
Emberthal is in mourning. In truth, she has been grieving for Sarkareth for some time now. The way forward is for her to determine. We can only be there to support her along the way. There are shards of Sarkareth's signet scattered all over this room. Would you gather them? I believe she would appreciate the gesture.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Into the Dark
My Blacktalon forces continue to secure the laboratory, but I think we are done here, <name>. We have secured some slitherdrakes to take us down to the central platform. From there we can continue below, to where Sarkareth fell. I am certain Ebyssian and Emberthal will benefit from our presence.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- A Legacy, Reforged
Grief is a painful burden to bear. It warms my heart to see Emberthal emerge from her sorrow and focus on her people. The pain of her loss will ebb, in due time. We need to inform Alexstrasza and the others of what has transpired here... and of the future of the black dragonflight.
