I picked up this quest item yesterday as a drop off Karkannon. I made the mistake of attempting to read the journal later forgetting I was in a raid group (and therefore cannot progress on non-raid quests). I was still on the quest but the journal disappeared. Saddened by my foolishness, I abandoned the quest. To my surprise however the item popped back into my inventory with the quest ! mark to pick it back up again with the journal intact. Maybe this is obvious but I thought I'd share in case anyone else out there has made the same mistake.

This quest is currently bugged. If you loot Nat's Fishing Journal it will auto accept and turn the Journal into a quest item to read.
Abandoning the quest will turn the quest item back into the journal momentarily before it auto accepts again and once again turns back into a quest item. This makes it impossible to use the Journal for its actual intended purpose of leveling your alt's fishing skill.
Thanks for the hint with the uncommon fishes [item=86544], [item=86542] or [item=86545], Neverknow. I was already wondering how I get revered with [npc=63721].

Description
This journal provides a hazy recollection of Nat Pagle's grand adventures. Simply reading it will undoubtedly provide a useful insight into fishing.
