Wild Cragscalers look like talbuks from Outland and can be found southeast of quest giver.

In case anyone is having the same issue I did, you aren't trying to go to the petrified forest down that cliff. You turn them in, in a coral behind the quest giver.
These talbuks are easily fooled. If you are a hunter, do not feign death or you will lose them.
