TheWoWDBBoth pices drop 100%, the thing that makes it ledgendary is the fact that you have to beat Naxx to get it which imo makes it harder to get than sulfuras or thunderfury despite the higher drop rates on the splenters. What I wanna know is if you have to have neutral rep with norzdormu to turn in this quest since its Anachronos whos giving it.

to answer your question i'd like to quote the wowwiki article about the quest: "NOTE you must be at least Neutral with the Brood of Nozdormu to be able to talk to Anachronos to complete the quest and hence be able to pick up the following quest to obtain the head and base!" so if you only started to collect those w/o ever having set foot into the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (maybe you only started to collect the splinters in TBC?),
