TheWoWDBYou no longer need to acquire any quest to get the event started. After killing all four Fanglords, return the quest and talk to Muyoh. Select "Let's beging the event" and the event starts and leads to spawning of the Mutanus the Devourer. Read more here.

I just completed WC and it didn't show up. Could still talk to Muyoh and do the escort, but no quest and no gem at the end now either.

Now that the Fanglords are dead, speak with Muyoh. He will help you awaken Naralex and end this nightmare.

Inside the dungeon: Wailing Caverns
Years ago, the famed druid Naralex and his followers descended into the shadowy Wailing Caverns, named for the mournful cry one hears when steam bursts from the cave system's fissures. Naralex planned to use the underground springs to restore lushness to the arid Barrens.

Entrance: Northern Barrens at 42.0, 66.9.
