Pff.... This item starts a quest, but abandoning the quest with the intent of picking it up later due to quest log limitations will also vaporise this very item starting the quest.
Quest currently cannot be handed in for Horde as Isabella has been moved. Have filed a bug report and hopefully this will be resolved with either a replacement NPC or alternative location soon.
