TheWoWDBThe boar at 47.5, 68.3 (in the tunnel of thorns) is bugged and doesn't put you in the correct phase. You should be able to kill boars just by running over them. If it's not working for you, ride around until you find another boar, get off your current boar, and use that one. I used one that is nearly directly above it at 46.3, 68.9 (to reach this on foot, go to 46.1, 66.8 and follow the grassy path up the hill to the left)

Remounting will fix the problem of not being able to hit anything.
Boarder Patrol world quest is located in Stormsong Valley Briarback Kraul on Kul Tiras isle at 48.08 70.26 .
To complete the quest mount the [npc=134542] and head into the Kraul to kill quilboars. Running into Briarback quilboar will kill it.
