For some odd reason, my FPS (which is normally consistently at 40+) TANKED during this quest. Went down to an average of 5 FPS. Don't know why. As soon as the quest was over, my FPS was restored. Not sure if anyone else had this problem.

Don't "leave the vehicle" after slaying 20 of the briarback invaders. There's an ettin that appears after killing 20 that is needed to complete the quest. If you kill 20 and leave before killing the ettin you should just abandon the quest. I figured I would just kill another 20+ without abandoning the quest but the ettin never respawned for me.

To start assault use the spare rifles rack nearby. Quilboars will appear and attack.
Use [1] button to shot them down, the gun kills them instantly. Button [2] stuns mobs, but it's unnecessary.
[npc=131980] will appear after killing 20 common quilboars, dies by few shots.

Grab our boy and get to the house while I got the gun... <Goldfield is choking back tears.> I won't leave. Our family has our roots here. They would want me to stay, don't you understand? This is our farm. My boy, he wanted to join the militia. I made him a sword... <Goldfield takes a deep breath.> Now you know. Help me retake my farm. Grab a gun and let's kill every last one.

I can take care of the rest. That ettin would have given me trouble if I was by myself, so you have my thanks. I would ask you for one more favor. My wife, she loved the carnations that grow by the water's edge. If you could gather some, there's a nice spot under a tree by the river.
