Clearing the Ruins is a quest for level 60 in Zereth Mortis. It is step 2 of 8 in the Reap What You Sow storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Zereth Mortis at 60.5, 70.0. It rewards 8,150 experience and money.
This place was abandoned for too long. The vegetation has overtaken the land.
We must enter the Blooming Foundry to fix it.
Until then: clear the area. Remove the deviants who have grown twisted over time.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

There's a bright power emanating from the place above. I'm drawn towards it, like a moth to a light! I want to check it out, whatever it is. Won't you join me, please? It'll be so fun!

The Blooming Foundry created this area. It maintains the automa, the creatures, and the plants. The overgrowth is its fault. We need to enter the Foundry to fix this land. This constructor can break through when it is working. Many automa in this area stopped moving long ago.
Reap What You Sow has 8 steps, from Mysterious Greenery to Reap What We Have Sown.
Maps its steps are placed on (steps per map): Zereth Mortis (8).
