TheWoWDBIf you're just looking to get the new weapon appearances (they're worth it for transmog!), go and make an allied race DK (I'm not sure if this counts for core races too,I didn't bother to check), turn in the initial quest and it should give you the weapon you chose and adds the rest to your transmog wardrobe. You can delete that DK afterwards if you wish.

For Quest Collector:
When you create an Allied Death Knight, you'll be put in Icecrown. Go up the stair to Lich King, you'll be given Death's Power Grows. Swear Fealty to Lich King, then you will get: Alliance: Defender of Azeroth or Horde Defender of Azeroth. Speak to [npc=29246] and report to duty, he will create Death Gate, you'll be in Org or SW.
Once in SW / Org, go to Command Board to turn in Alliance: Defender of Azeroth or Horde Defender of Azeroth.
After that is done, USE your [spell=317464] in your spellbook and it will take ya to Naxx where Death Knight resides. Go to [npc=29246] and from there, you will get Runeforging 101.
You need to click the extra button when near Lich King.
