TheWoWDBQuick note for death knights hoping to do the starting area quests for Teldrassil for Alliance reputation:
As a death knight you'll only be able to do the first four quests in this small chain. Any other class (at least, any other class that a night elf is able to be) would get another quest afterwards that is class-specific. And you, being the awesome death knight that you are, can't get these class specific quests. Because you're a death knight.
This may or may not be the case with other starting areas - I'll edit this post after confirming this at Coldridge and Northshire.
Edit: After checking out Gnomeregan and Northshire, I was completely unable to find any questgivers whatsoever. I was, however, able to complete the Ironforge starting quests.

I can also confirm that I was only able to complete this first chain of four quests, although I could continue doing the rest of the zone of Teldrassil, completing all of the quests except those associated with familiarizing players with the flight master, as has been tradition. Concerning other starting areas, I too was able to complete all of the Coldridge Valley starter area quests, but not all of the zone, unlike Teldrassil.
