TheWoWDBMount Hyjal right where you port in. There is a constant flow of earth elementals with a steady spawn rate. No need to run around hunting for them, and a decent drop rate. Only took me about 5 minutes to finish the daily here.

The elementals at Nordrassil aren't dropping this item now. They are level 50 and when I mine them they drop storm silver ore. I don't think they count as Cataclysm elementals anymore.
I was able to get my goo from the Mercurial Ooze in Upper Silvermarsh in Deepholm. 100% drop rate.
The name "Vernstrom" is a reference to Professor Ogden Wernstrom in Futurama.

Description
Instead of using the tired old method of setting gems into rings and such, I use an innovative new method. I simply glue on the gems with Vernstrom Elemental Glue! The doctor needs more elemental goo for another batch, though, and I have a whole bunch of setting to do. Can you go get me some?
