For anyone doing this at level 70 in DF the bodyguard NPC will one-shot the mobs as soon as combat is initiated. To avoid this once you have the Stone of Elements go and complete the other quest to rescue the shaman and turn it in back at the encampment. The NPC bodyguard will then leave and you can return to the area and use the Soft Foam Sword toy then use the Stone of Elements quest item to pacify the mobs.

If you are like me and waited to work on these achievements and you are level 80, right click the buff that says the NPC is accompanying you and he will go away. Remove all armor, weapons, and trinkets, and one or two punches should put them below 60%, Put the item on your action bar or hot key it so you use it before you kill the mob.

Description

The naga have angered the elements and disrupted the natural order. We must restore the balance before it is too late. A Farseer maintains a deep connection with the elements. When the naga forces imprisoned my master, the natural balance was disturbed. Take the Stone of Elements and use it to pacify the enraged water elementals throughout Dragon's Teeth Basin. Ultimately, our only solution is to rescue Farseer Ori and bring him back alive, but the Tidestone could buy us precious time...

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
