Enemy of my Enemy...

Enemy of my Enemy... is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-30 in Hellfire Peninsula. It is step 37 of 103 in the Hellfire Peninsula storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Hellfire Peninsula at 68.3, 28.6. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

Now we focus on the second target - Forge Camp: Rage. It lies just west of Mageddon. Trouble is, the demons have a number of fel cannons aimed straight at the Horde's outpost of Thrallmar! Though I can scarcely believe it, we actually need the Horde to help us hold the line at the Dark Portal. We can't afford to let Thrallmar fall. You've got to destroy these cannons before the Legion pulverizes our allies!

The cannons have a LOT less HP than the servants do that are working on them. Also, the cannons deal more damage. If you take out the cannon first, its smooth sailing.

As a rogue, if you are having trouble with these, kill the cannon as fast as you can and then vanish without killing the servant... Amounts to about 1 kill per 5 minutes :p

ALSO, they have a 4-5 minute respawn timer while the servants working on them have a 15+ minute respawn timer, so if you are having trouble soloing, just camp 1.

  • Disruption - Forge Camp: MageddonHellfire Peninsula · Level 10-30

Pay close attention, <name>. We've been surveying the Legion camps that lie along the ridge ahead. We have reason to believe that these so-called 'Forge Camps' are where the demons are constructing those blasted Fel Reavers. You can see the closest target, Forge Camp: Mageddon, to the west.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Invasion Point: AnnihilatorHellfire Peninsula · Level 10-30

Well, we've located the Legion's final base on the ridge - Invasion Point: Annihilator. It lies northwest of Forge Camp: Rage - and it houses a warp-portal through which the Legion has been drawing its reinforcements! You've got to close that portal to prevent any more demons from coming through.
