These spawns are heavily camped in busy times. But there's a trick to making more spawn. Sometimes you will see a Kaliri Nest on the ground. Click it and 1-2 Kaliri will spawn; sometimes hatchlings, sometimes matriarchs. I farmed a single spawn at 27,77 this way and got the quest done in about 15 minutes. Killed 22 birds to get 8 feathers.

Description
The arakkoa at the Den of Haal'esh, south of here, breed a magnificent species of birds called kaliri. Their feathers would fetch a bundle at the trading posts back in Azeroth. Just think of all the ale I could buy then! Tell you what, you bring me a stack of kaliri feathers and I'll give you my very own hat. What do you say? You'll never find a hat like this one! Do we have a deal?
