If you're dumb like me and doing this when you should be asleep and you make the items out of order and run out of mats, you can always return to the box and get more stuff to complete it.
If you're blind like I am: There's an anvil and forge a few feet north of the box you collect the materials from. Look for a big guy using a hammer.
I was unable to get more items until I ran out of range of the world quest and came back.
