I had my sound turned off at the time of doing this quest, so those of you who are in the same boat as me: As a paladin who equipped full BoA's and a 2H weapon right out the gate, the quest was asking to perform Shield of the Righteous, which required you to use a shield. So just slap your shield and 1H back on, perform your 3 spells, and quest complete. 馃
It's because there's no combination to teach hunters. The quest is designed to make sure new players understand the pandemic mechanic, combo points, etc. But at that level all hunters do is spam steady shot.

Description
Alaria says that the quilboar kidnapped other members of her expedition. Chances are we'll have to brave the quilboar's den. That's no small feat. They are far more aggressive and intelligent than the murlocs you faced earlier. I need to make sure I'm not sending you to your death. We're going to have one last sparring session.
