Extreme Recycling is a quest for level 10-56 in Ardenweald. It is step 3 of 8 in the Glitterfall Heights storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Ardenweald at 51.3, 34.0. It rewards 7,650 experience and money.

Description

The Wild Hunt serves the Winter Queen under the leadership of Lord Herne. We are elite fighters, hunters, and trackers.

But we cannot fight without weapons and supplies. The droman here informs me that there are severe obstacles to their delivery.

I do not have time to wait. We need equipment, and we need it now.

See what you can scavenge from the field. A broken weapon can always be mended and put to use again.

If you are leveling an alt and wondering why weapons won't drop, check if there is a world quest active in the nearby area that turns you into a moth and makes you harvest animacones. If you complete the world quest, the droprate of weapons will return to normal and you can finish this quest.

To complete this quest you need to slay the Blighted and take their weapons.
There are lots of Blighted creepers darkcasters mobs within the quest area which drop [item=180061]s.
Dont forgtet to pick up The Missing Hunters as you may loot enough weapons just along that quest.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Missing HuntersArdenweald · Level 10-56

Strange creatures have been seen lurking just outside the grove. Terrible, ugly things. Whatever they might be, they are not native to Ardenweald. It does not matter how they breached our borders, though. Every one of them must be eliminated.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Totem EclipseArdenweald · Level 10-56

I can smell our foes' dark magic, twisting the air and muddling my mind. They are up to something. Bringing awful powers into Ardenweald. If you see any of their totems, destroy them immediately. I always feel better after smashing something to pieces, don't you?
