Farwhisper the Elder

Ok. Post-Cata there have been some changes. Unfortunately if you go in the service entrance (Eastwall Gate) there is no longer a way to simply go left into Festival Square. In order to reach Elder Farwhisper, you must go in through the main entrance, then as a previous post indicated, simply go left, then right, through the trapped portcullis with the rats/plagued insects, and right again. You will probably have to fight the ghosts there, with the mini-boss (named The Unforgiven I believe), then the Elder is just past that on the right.

Not sure if there still exists a way to "link" or go from the Scarlet Crusade side (Strat Live) to the Baron's side. If there is, I could not find it. But Festival Square is no longer reachable by the side gate. There is now a permanent portcullis there closing it off.

Since the changes to Strat, the fastest way to get to Elder Farwhisper; is to enter through the main gate and veer right, crossing through the two portcullises, which will bring you into Festival Lane. Now turn left and carry on till you find him around the first bend.

The zone maps are the issue here. There are 2 maps in this zone: "Crusader's Square" and "The Gauntlet". The elder is not located in Crusader's Square. He is located in The Gauntlet. When you go from one map to the other the coords change drastically.

When you zone in you will be on "The Gauntlet" map. The Elder is located at approximately 76.8, 22.0 on this map. As you near the Elder the map changes to "The Gauntlet" and as I said the coords will jump. On The Gauntlet map you will find the Elder at 50.19, 69.26 as shown here.
