This is borderline bugged. They have put a spider rare next to the quest mobs but it can take you out of the quest zone. And if it takes you out of the quest zone after you have completed the first part of the world quest then you have no feedback by the quest log at all ...that the item needed for the 2nd part is now auto-deleted and you have to create it again.
update: this appears now fixed. If you zone out of the quest, the final item (or ability?) remains.
