Maintenance Mode is a group quest for level 60 in Zereth Mortis. It is step 6 of 9 in The Final Song storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Zereth Mortis at 61.3, 37.7. It rewards 8,150 experience and money.

Description

The architect set forth these tasks:

Stay safe.

Restore the Protoform Repository when danger passes.

The mortal knows the cyphers. The mortal will help with the tasks.

Attuning of the energy terminals is required. Each terminal requires a codex. Invaders pilfered the necessary codices.

Go.

The description isn't absolutely clear so:

You need to get 4 "Attunement Codex" to drop from nearby Mawsworn. Take the 4 "Attunement Codex" (plural of codex is codices) to the 4 terminals in the area and click on the terminals.

There are elites that drop the 4 "Attunement Codex" but there are also non-elite Plunderers all over the area that have a higher drop rate and are easy to solo if you can pull them without also pulling nearby elites.

I have an add-on that points out which mobs drop quest items but it didn't work for this quest.

Seems odd that with all the solo stuff and everything we have done so far to tag this questline on at the end that is pretty tricky (or damned slow) depending on if you're squishy or not. Think I missed the bus when people were grouping up for this.. oh well :p
