I use this tamer daily to level up my level 1 pets.

I use a Spawn of Onyxian/Onyxian Whelpling first:

  • Tail Sweep Skyshaper until the dragonkin buff pops up

  • If Skyshaper is still alive use Healing Flame and finish the wasp off in the round round with another Tail Sweep. This ensures that I get maximum use out of the dragonkin buff

  • Hit Fangor with a buffed Tail Sweep

  • Follow up with Lift Off to avoid the Burrow

  • Heal up with Healing Flame/Tail Sweep Fangor down

If I get lucky, I can carry my first pet into the final fight.

Normally though I will lose my first pet with Fangor 1 hit shy of dead, or to Dor's opening Headbutt attack. If I need to still kill Fangor I bring in my finisher and kill the snake in one attack. For this I use another Spawn of Onyxia, but something like Crimson Whelpling, Wild Crimson Hatchling, or any Moth will work just as well. Basically you want something that can dodge an attack, and has enough dps to burn through Dor's healing and shield.

After Dor the Wall has attacked, I swap in my level 1 for a round before switching to my finisher.

Once you know the fight, timing your dodge ability is very easy. With Spawn of Onyxia I just lift off in the round before I know Dor will Headbutt. As a bonus, Lift Off does extra damage to aquatics, so the turtle doesn't long. Not that it matters, because as long as I keep using Lift Off when I need to, I can't be defeated.

Once the fight ends, I have an instant level 11 pet (I have a Safari Hat, so without it, a level 1 would probably only go to level 10), and since I figured out how to time my abilities, I have yet to lose a match to her.
