An easy way to complete this quest is to port to your Garrison. There, you will find [npc=94870] at /way 41.5, 47.2 (as horde). Talk to him and choose the last option to queue up for LFR Archimonde. This way you don't have to clear the entire raid. I had to bring 1 other person with me to stop the encounter from resetting when he ports you to the other realm. Whole fight took 3 minutes.

I'm glad most of these profession quests take us out in the world but i didn't expect we'd be sent back to HFC let alone this soon.
You can quene for LFR via Seer Kezal in your Garrison or join one of transmog run pug groups.
as of 12/31/17 argus patch. u no longer require another person to kill archimonde just solo by talking to Seer and join LFR

Description
When Khadgar's group stormed Hellfire Citadel, they faced many foes that commanded demons, but none more powerful than Archimonde himself. Perhaps there's somethin' on his corpse that can answer the final questions of unlocking the mystery of this brimstone.

Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Brimstone's Secret
While you were gathering what I asked of you, I did a little testing on the brimstone. It reacted rather violently when I channeled onto it. Careful casting went into making the creature from whom you took this.
