Honor Above All Else

As a point of interest, the quest giver - Tirion Fordring - is probably the single NPC in WoW that values honor the most. Looking back in his history, we can see that he lost wife, child, lordship, castle, and his good name, in order to keep his honor, saving the life of an orc.

Honor uber alles.

EDIT: And here are some quotes that imply his high value of honor:

"I will remain committed to the Alliance until my dying day. Of that, have no doubt. But I cannot disavow the oath I took. To do so would be to betray everything I am and everything we, as honorable men, hold dear."

..., few people would have selflessly lent assistance to an old and forgotten hermit.
You have proven yourself as one of those people: A person of integrity and honor.

Taelan is a good man. He needs to remember...remember what it is to be noble and honorable

[quest=5845]
It was with that thought that Taelan threw down the standard of the Order and renounced all that he had known. His honor left upon the blood soaked ground of Northdale.
You must travel to Northdale and recover that symbol of lost honor.

Interestingly, this quest gives + 10 Alliance Vanguard rep, despite the giver and ender both being Argent Crusade faction.
