Flew around Suramar and had it done in less than 5 minutes.

Look for the glowing orbs but also prioritize the flying purple mobs. They will drop multiple glowing orbs if you fly through them along with some dragonriding surge refreshers.

If anyone figures out how to do this, please advise.

I figured out how. All over the Broken Isles there are golden orbs in the sky, I got it done in about 15 minutes. You have to fly through them. Also there glowing flying purple bands of demons, fly through those as well, and you will get more of the needed quest item.

The motes are in random locations around the Broken Isles, and the quickest place to find them is above various buildings in Suramar City. Simply fly through them to collect them. Flying through the first one also triggers the quest Clearing the Skies: A Fel of a Time which is trivial to complete at the same time.

Description

Manipulating time is not without its risks or its rewards. The strain on this timeline has produced numerous residual time motes through the Broken Isles. It would be irresponsible not to clean them up. However, there is opportunity here. If you were to gather these motes, then their latent infinite power would be bestowed upon you instead. We can clean up the timeline and enhance our research at the same time.

As we study this timeline and your effect upon it, a question has been raised--what would be different if you had a different artifact? Seek out a new artifact and let us see whether the first choice you made was good, or great.

  • Infinite Research: Gather Timewarped SamplesLevel 10-90

The fraying of this timeline has had some interesting effects on plants and stone. We would like to study them. Gather samples of timewarped herbs and ores from around the Broken Isles and being them back for analysis.
