Intelligence Gathering is a quest for level 25-30 in Icecrown. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.
I need to know what the Scarlet Onslaught is planning today. You will be my instrument in this task.
Fly to Onslaught Harbor and rifle through their baggage trunks for documents. The trunks will be locked, so you'll have to take the keys from the Scarlet Onslaught members by whatever means.

Unless you're desperate for the money or the Ebon Blade reputation, this quest is one to avoid:
-The key droprate among the Onslaught mobs is roughly 20%
-The Intel droprate among the chests is roughly 30%Blizzard needs to change one of the above droprates to 100%.
This would be immensely helpful in preventing overfarming, as well as a brain-melting timesink.
(As a side note, Onslaught Harbor is aggrofest 2008. From the air, on the ground, through walls, around corners and in the water, you're chain-aggroing throughout the area. It's a nightmare.)
I don't see a comment about this anywhere else on the page, so here it is:
To gain access to this and the other quests at Death's Rise, you need to complete the main quest chains at the Shadow Vault.
