It Could Kill Us All

It Could Kill Us All is a quest for level 25-30 in Icecrown. It is step 15 of 167 in the Icecrown storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Icecrown at 83.0, 73.1. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

Southeast of here, at the eastern reaches of Crystalsong Forest, is an area known as the Unbound Thicket. Within that thicket creeps all manner of life. One thing all of the affected creatures of the thicket share in common is their affinity for magical energy. Each of them holds pure, crystallized energy. Enough to kill us all should it ever destabilize!

Travel to the Unbound Thicket and kill its denizens for crystallized energy. We need fuel and they need to die. We call that a "win-win."

  • The Stone That Started A RevolutionIcecrown · Level 25-30

You may look at Scourgeholme now and see a rancid pit of decay, but one day it will be a place of glory and honor. Highlord Fordring has deemed it "Justice Keep." Alas, even an impregnable fortress like Icecrown Citadel began with but a single stone.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Air Stands StillIcecrown · Level 25-30

You must defeat the lords of Scourgeholme if this place is to be free of the Scourge's grasp. Salranax the Flesh Render lords over the temple on the first tier of Scourgeholme. Nearby Salranax you'll find High Priest Yath'amon preaching at the spirit tower on the second tier.
