Into the Draenethyst Mine
A World of Warcraft quest in Blade's Edge Mountains. Facts and objectives from the current retail game data.

These are listed to drop off of Bloodmaul Drudgers, however they're literally mined from large, teal crystal veins that are scattered throughout the southern cave (43, 85).
You do not need to be a miner to obtain these crystals, anyone can just "use" the crystals to obtain them.
They are located in Draenethyst Mine. Entrance is at 42,84.

What to do
Description
Well it's good to see someone who's willing to help out around here! Borgrim and I are part of the Explorers' League, and we're here to learn what we can of these mountains. We've heard all sorts of tales, and I can't wait to get settled in and started. One thing in particular has caught my attention. The night elves speak of a place down in the ravine to the east known as the Draenethyst Mine. It's at the south end of Bloodmaul Outpost. I'd like some of the crystals that grow naturally therein.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Bloodmaul Ogres
There is a threat to Sylvanaar far deadlier than the Horde at Thunderlord Stronghold. I'm speaking of the native ogres of these mountains. Just to the south and east, down in the ravine, lives the Bloodmaul clan. While they aren't the only group of ogres that threaten us here, they are the closest.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Strange Brew
If I'm going to start this vacation out right, then I'm going to need more brew. Unfortunately, the elves know nothing of the fine art of fermentation. I overheard that the Bloodmaul ogres down in the ravine have plenty. I'm willing to give it a try. Do me a favor?
