What a piece of @#$% this quest is.
Good news is, I found a (fairly) consistent setup that seems to work.
From the start:
1. mount up and jump into the tornade, aim for the most left blue jelly (not the one in the middle, that's a beginners trap).
2. Bounce up till you reach the first big purple jelly
3. Turn 180 degrees and aim for Tickles (needs to be done fast). You can actually trigger the quest completion from this first big bounce already, you can skip the annoying other midway stuff.
Good luck.

The worst crap they ever put in the game.
This is not a bad idea. In just about any other game this might work well. The problem isn't the quest itself (once you know how to do it, the concept is pretty straight forward), the problem is that the wow engine and servers are not designed for movement puzzles like this.
I can't count how many times I have experienced problems on this type of movement quest due to simple server desync, where the server thinks you're somewhere else than where the client shows you. Multiple times I would pass right through a jelly, then bounce off the ground. This obviously does not work, because you don't have the altitude at that point to make it to the next jelly.
Blizzard needs to either address the horrible movement logic in their engine, or stop trying to make movement puzzles like this. As it stands, I am heartily in the "wait for flying" on this one. Regardless of how simple and straightforward this is on paper (or in any game with an engine that can handle it), in practice, failing because the game just decided to not let you succeed is frustrating and not fun. The amount of time this quest requires, even if you can do it easily, is just not worth the reward.
