If you fall through the hole in the floor before you interact with her, it's almost impossible to get back up without jumping tricks...
When you abandon the quest to reset she's still unreachable...So after you abandon the quest, you can go back to the original portal coordinates: 55.19,64.26 and reenter the portal.
"Opposite her position, there’s a hole in the ground. That’s where you should go, not through the rock blocking a path."

Description
I heard about these beasts, but I thought it was a rumor. Void creatures appearing out of void portals, kidnapping and eating our officers... sounds like a load of bunk. I never thought it'd happen to me. There was a big one that got me, but he ran off. Please, let's get out of here before it comes back!

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Patient Hunter
These void beasts are elusive, able to open temporary void portals that they can use to move short distances instantaneously. They may be beneath Turalyon's notice, but they're having devastating effects on the Vanguard's morale. Between the two of us, I'm confident we can outmaneuver them.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Nothing Stands Forever
With the Patriarch defeated, these cunning creatures should no longer pose a serious threat. Return to Turalyon and report on our success. I will join you all shortly.
