A Born Killer

A Born Killer is a quest for level 88-90 in Voidstorm. It is step 1 of 10 in the Dance with the Devil storyline, the opening step. The quest's turn-in marker is in Voidstorm at 51.5, 72.8. It rewards 12,850 experience and money.

Description

Ah, <name>. I have so enjoyed our time together. I hunger for more.

I wish you knew more of me than my predilection for the taste of mortal suffering. One of my greatest joys is in crafting Void power into various objects and structures. It is my passion--my art.

Here, I would like to show you. First, we will need power. You already know how to get it, of course: kill, kill, kill.

This doesn't appear to be the case anymore. The mobs in the pit at the waypoint above do spawn back-to-back, but they do not drop anything (or have the quest indicator on their nameplate). The mobs in the surrounding area will drop them occasionally, though they don't respawn as fast.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

While we domanaar are best known for leading armies and savoring battles, there is more to us. Many, like myself, enjoy using our mastery over the Void to shape it into the buildings and objects you see around you. How do you think Xal'atath learned to create that great tower of hers?
