Reliable Enemies

Reliable Enemies is a quest for level 88-90 in Voidstorm. It is step 1 of 14 in The Night's Veil storyline, the opening step. The quest's turn-in marker is in Voidstorm at 36.6, 73.0. It rewards 3,200 experience and money.

Description

The ren'dorei scouts report a familiar enemy upon this world: ethereals. Wretched scavengers and bandits that plague every corner of the Great Dark Beyond. The Shadowguard are the worst of them. We'll handle them.

This... thing we've taken prisoner must know what they're doing here, and much else. Press the Void's secrets from it. See that it is convinced to share what it knows, or I will employ my own methods.

There is a secret interaction with Decimus.
If Decimus can be attacked, he does not engage in a fight automatically. While most players attack him immediately, you can choose to NOT ATTACK him and wait for a minute.
After this time, Decimus becomes unattackable again and congratulates the player for this violence-free approach.
