For anyone confused as to how to start this World Quest - walk up to Archmage Nielthende. She will speak to you automatically and you will be able to mount one of the Mana Sabers.
The objective is to keep your Mana Saber in a straight line to maintain high speed and collect the blue energy circles on the road that spawn as you run.

If you dont see the next blue dot, just keep turning in circles.
This quest is annoying and poorly designed. You will see pillars of blue light that you run into and only the first two will clearly indicate a location while you are running towards them, after that they don't appear or spawn until you are right on top of them leaving you with no sense of direction whatsoever. You will repeatedly find yourself running towards nothing because that was seemingly the direction indicated only to discover you have to turn 90 degrees or even back-track to get something that could not possibly have been in your field of view. This quest should be relatively fast and easy but is given a false difficulty by following the modern day equivalent of the terrible Mario 64 camera.
If this is the last World Quest on your list for the area, give it a shot, but you'll likely find yourself dropping it rather fast and doing something far efficient, like a dungeon.
