Ongo'longo's Revenge (Horde)

Ongo'longo's Revenge is a Horde-only quest for level 10-30 in The Hinterlands. It is step 50 of 61 in The Hinterlands storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in The Hinterlands at 67.8, 66.5. It rewards 5,150 experience and money.

Description

Ongo'longo was one of us. What outsiders called a Dire Troll, but he was a Revantusk, and a proud warrior like all of us!

Then the Vilebranch took him. They keep him chained up in a pit at the top of Jintha'Alor, made to dance for their sick amusement.

No chains can hold Ongo'longo. All you need to do is raise his temper, <name>. Fight him until he's enraged enough to remember his true spirit and break free... and then get out of the way!

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Dark VesselsThe Hinterlands · Level 10-30

The Vilebranch trolls here used to drink the corrupted blood of the god Hakkar himself for power. They boiled it in crude pots before drinking, dark vessels full of unholy strength. Hakkar was killed long ago, of course. But the interesting thing... I still see some cauldrons bubbling up there.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • It's Ours NowThe Hinterlands · Level 10-30

Only the strongest and foulest Vilebranch are left now. The soul eaters and blood drinkers, foul worshippers of the evil god Hakkar. They are FOOLS! They cling to old, defeated beliefs. I won't tolerate their crimes against the Revantusk any longer. Strike the final blow.
