Some things about the moose version of this quest:
- It seems to be a bit buggy at times and not show up other than on your map. You can still complete it.
- For the moose, the objective is specifically to kill 20 mobs using the Charge ability. The moose has an auto-attack, but you get no quest credit if you kill things with it.
- The tooltip doesn't mention it, but the moose charge has a minimum distance for actually being fatal. It never does any damage, so you're either far enough away to insta-kill the hunter or too close and the charge doesn't do anything. Hunters that have aggro on someone else can also be problematic and refuse to die.
- Due to the number of kills required, the limited area, and the general confusion, it's sometimes faster to just pick a remote spawn and kill it repeatedly. The hunters respawn in a few seconds.
I was having a hard time completing this while in the Moose form. I would charge at a hunter only to have my attack do little to no damage and then die as the hunter wailed on my poor moose.
What worked for me was to not target hunters who were being attacked by another player or those who were standing there, but already had lowered health. It seemed like nothing I did would have those ones count for me. When I charged at hunters with full health and not engaged with someone else, they insta-died. Once I focused on those NPCs, I was able to finish it with no problem.
