Description

<A viscous dark ooze drips from this large chunk of amber. Attempting to wipe it off is futile, as the ooze is seemingly created by the amber itself.

As you hold it, unintelligible whispers fill the back of your mind.

The Shado-Pan will surely want to examine it.>

This is mostly a "flavor" questline with 1000 Rajani rep and 1500 azerite at the end.
As BFA is done, and know with certainty this questline doesn't lead anywhere or open up anything.
If you came here looking to see if this is worth doing...unless the rep and azerite at the end appeals to you, or if you are interested in MoP/BFA lore or just enjoy questing for the sake of questing, the answer is probably not.
