Ruinator Xok'nixx

Ruinator Xok'nixx is a quest for level 50 in Uldum. It is step 8 of 12 in the Aqir Offensive storyline. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 6,800 experience and money.

Description

Ar'kali and a group of our warriors are engaged with a most behemothic creature in the heart of the ruins.

She can hold her own against nearly any foe, but I fear it is only a matter of time before this monster is able to wear them down.

Although the creature is occupied for now, if our warriors fall, the ruins will be lost to us.

Please, make haste, with your help they can surely fell this titanic foe.

Nearby friendly NPCs will be dealing with the mob by themselves, just make sure you tag it. You can prioritize the other two quests while still getting this completed simultaneously.

Complete questline:

1. Words from Orsis
2. Search for Survivors
3. To Ankhaten Harbor
4a. Burn the Bodies
4b. Wastewander Hosts
5. Ruins of Ammon
6a. Ruinator Xoknixx <- you are here
6b. Tend the Wounded
6c. A Bit of Investigation
7. Obelisk of the Sun
8a. All Gassed Up
8b. Aqir Extermination
9. To the Moon

You may worry when you first see that you have to kill this mob, but don't feel intimidated: the NPCs who are fighting it will hold aggro, you just need to damage it and avoid the green stuff it drops on the floor. This did not end up being a challenging fight for me.

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Tend the WoundedUldum · Level 50

My friend, as you can see here, we are besieged by these terrible creatures. Many of our comrades have fallen prey to the monsters, but fortunately, we have enough warriors here to keep the threat at bay... for now.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Obelisk of the SunUldum · Level 50

I have one more thing I must ask of you, my friend. Completion of this task is critical to our survival here. Our comrade, Zahra, has taken it upon herself to climb the plateau just east of us to secure one of the old bombers left up there. So far, our attempts to get word back to Arik have failed.
