TheWoWDBThis may be ridiculously obvious to some people, but the wording of the quest led me to believe the bag I had to interact with was a physical object in the game world. It is not. It is a bag that is put into the player's inventory when the quest is accepted.
I had no notification in my chat log that the item was put in my inventory when accepting the quest, so in case that happens to others, I wanted to let them know they have to interact with the inventory salvage bag at their salvage yard in the garrison.

There can be a bug that when you receive this quest the first time, it won't allow you to use the quest item at the Salvage Yard. Leaving the garrison on foot, wait 15 sec and walk back and it works.

I have an extra pack of material our people brought in that I've yet to go through. Why don't you take it over to the incinerator and see if it contains anything useful?
